We get a lot of questions about our products, but we also get a lot of questions about how to best use FTV with the various equipment that is out there. Without knowing exactly what you are using it can be hard to tell how to get the most out of your particular set-up, but we aim to please so we will give it a shot. First and foremost always remember that you need to give your rig some time to absorb the FTV...dry hits are the worst and will just make you cough. If you are hitting your rig a lot it can also make sense to stop and take a few puffs without hitting the power to help pull some FTV back into the cotton. If you are using a drip setup or RDA then this part should be a bit easier; just don't let it go dry. If you have a Variable Temp Control mod then you can dial in the temp, and it will regulate the power to make sure you don't overheat the cotton. When picking a temp it is always going to be a matter of personal preference, and we like to start low and then work our way up to find the perfect temp, but if you want our best guess as to what temp to start with we would say 420F (that was a gimme, but it really is the right temp). When dealing with an adjustable mod that does not dial in the temp things get a bit more tricky, and it really depends on the ohm's of the coil. For instance if you use a 1.5 ohm coil then you can get away with anywhere between 8-16 watts, but a .5 ohm coil needs between 15-30 watts to give you the right amount of power. As a rule of thumb we always tell people to start with less power and then work their way up until they find the sweet spot for the most flavor, cloud, and desired effect. Here is a quick chart that should hopefully give you some guidelines to help you find the right mix for your favorite rig:
There are a lot of options when it comes to the different vape equipment that you can use with Farm To Vape, and over time you will certainly find the setup that works best for you. Hopefully these rules of thumb help you to get the most out of whatever setup you prefer...remember the name of the game is to vape what you want when you want, not spend all day dialing in your rig.
